Bergen - the city between the seven mountains
Bergen is Norway's second largest city and is often referred to as Vestlandets capital. Bergen was founded by Olav Kyrre in 1070, and was then called Bjørgvin.
Bryggen is one of Norway's most visited attractions. This is a wooden houses consisting of 61 listed buildings and is a UNESCO World Heritage list.
Market in Bergen, Often called the Fish Market, is a square inner harbor in Bergen where you'll find a trading stalls for sale of fish, shellfish, berries, fruits and flowers as well as souvenirs. Especially in the summer you will find teeming crowds here and a large influx of tourists.
From Fløyfjellet you have a fantastic view of Bergen. Fløyfjellet is that of the seven mountains surrounding Bergen in Bergen. Flew mountain plateau lies 399 meters above sea level, and to come up here to get more exercise, or take the funicular. This is a 850 meter long electric cable car that pulls two carriages between Fløien and drive down the center of Bergen.
