Seim Camping

Seim Camping opposition on the farm Seim, at the end of Røldalsvatnet middle of the mountain village of Røldal. The space is roleg and family give us and have nice views towards the lake and surrounding mountains. The campground also has eigen shoreline approximately 100m from garden with opportunity for fishing and swimming.

Røldal, which lies 400 m above sea adjoins the Hardangervidda National Park and is otherwise known for the old stave church with its under makes duck crucifix. Groomed ski trails right uttafor our cabins (10km) 3km of which is Ljos trail.

At Seim opposition also an freda burial ground from the Iron Age with 12 preserved burial mounds, it is also ein exhibit in the old barn on the farm which displays finds from the graves.

Bakery

We now have our own bakery with wood-fired stone oven. Opening hours are announced on Facebook page.

Båtutleige

In Røldalsvatnet it rikeleg with trout. There is free fishing rod. It is possible to rent boats and canoes for guests at Seim Camping. There are bath rob about 100 m from the campsite, but because the lake is regulated varies water level.

Activities

Winter: Røldal is known for good snow conditions and one can ski from December to May. Røldal ski center is 10 minutes drive from Røldal center. See own web page: www.roldal.com There is a 3 km light trail at Seim Camping, and nice skiing opportunities around the village. During the winter, a 10 km ski trail is being prepared in the center of Røldal, which passes by the cabins at Seim Camping. At Seljestad, 10 km from Røldal, there are several miles of trails in beautiful terrain.

summer: The start of hikes on Hardangervidda goes from Røldal antan ein well to go on foot from the village or repeats to the end of Valldalen (about 30 min drive from Røldal.) There starts trips to tourist cabins Litlos and Hell Vass. There are marked paths from Røldal center, antan ein will go all day long or only one font hour trip. Mountains around the village offers endless great turmogelegheter. Maps and information on this is available at Seim Camping or Røldal Tourist.

The cabins

At Seim Camping we have four new appointed heilårs cottages built in 2006 and 2014, and four single cabins two of those also for winter use.

The cabins opposition in family venlege setting overlooking the Røldalsvatnet. During the winter season (Ordinarily January- April) are a great 10km long groomed ski piste right uttafor cottages. 3 km of this is Ljos trail.

Camping at Seim

The campsite at Seim is large and has a nice view of Røldalsvatnet and the surrounding mountains. It is 100 m to the shoreline where one can hire a boat and canoe, fished and bada.
