Ringøy Camping

Ringøy Camping is idyllically situated by the Hardangerfjord and has plenty of space for motorhomes, caravans and tents. You can also rent the cottage "Dreiarstova" which lies in the middle of the apple tree, with a unique view of the fjord and the mountains.

Ringøy is 10 km from Kinsarvik and is a good starting point for experiences along the Hardangerfjord.

The campground is ideal as a base for excursions to well-known attractions in Hardanger. With the Hardanger Bridge that opened in August 2013, it is also not far to Voss, Granvin and Ulvik.

The campsite has a small marina for small boats and canoes. All our guests are most welcome to borrow our rowing boat. You can also use the wood and light a fire on the cozy campfire.

On the wall of the toilet house you will find information about one of the many walks in the area. The campsite is open from 1.5 - 15.9. Groups can reserve space out of season on request.

Sanitary facilities are newly renovated 2020.

Dreiarstovo

A cabin in the middle of an apple tree, with a magnificent view of the Hardangerfjord!

The old homestead is beautifully situated by the Hardangerfjord in the middle between rows of fruit trees and steep mountain sides. The building is originally from 1870, but was restored in 2006. The old walls stand in front, and make Dreiarstovo something completely unique.

After a complete renovation and with modern equipment in place, Dreiarstovo is a great place to live when you are on holiday in Hardanger. Here is everything you need of equipment - dishwasher, washing machine, toilet, shower and underfloor heating. The cottage is rented out with bed linen and towel to ensure good hygiene routines. 50, - surcharge in price per person.

As a guest at Ringøy you can also use our boat, and light a bonfire at the campfire down by the shore.

With Ringøy Camping as your base you have a short road to a number of experiences. Below are some suggestions on what you can see and do in Hardanger. We also rent out games and equipment for outdoor activities.

Micklepark for the least

From Ringøy Camping, it takes just ten minutes to drive to the popular Mikkelparken in Kinsarvik. In Mikkelparken they have a swimming pool with slides, trampoline, wooden cars, rabbits and other animals. You can also health at Mikkel and Mikkeline. Read more about the park here.

Hardanger is known among others for the cultivation of apple and morels, and therefore belongs to the flowering festival and Cherry Festival with! You can read more about the special festivals here.

Nature experiences

It is not without reason that tourists from all over the world come to beautiful Hardanger. They will see high mountains, glittering fjords and rows upon rows of fruit trees. Here are many mountain peaks to climb and waterfalls to see. Ringøy Camping is centrally located, and well-known attractions such as Vøringsfossen and Trolltunga are not far away.

From Ringøy you can take day trips to other popular destinations, which are considered Ulvik, Voss and Bergen. To Voss it takes just 40 minutes by car. Here there is plenty to see and experience, everything from shopping to flying in the wind tunnel. Read more about Voss here.

fishing

Many fishing enthusiasts return to Ringøy Camping time after time. The campsite is nicely located right down by the fjord, and from the quay you can launch your own boat, or you can borrow ours. Note that you must have a fishing license if you are going to fish in freshwater. Fishing licenses can be purchased at the tourist information in Kinsarvik.
