Welcome to Rauland Camping

Rauland Camping was started in 1968 by Helga and Nils Bakken, as a small campsite with room for 10 tents and 5 rooms in the main house (motel). In 1971, the campsite was expanded and there was room for caravans. At the end of the 1970s, camping was again expanded.

In the 1980s there were 3 ski slopes and after that Rauland became known as a winter village and has only grown more and more over the years.

Today, the campsite is year-round camping with 23 year-round pitches and space for 5-hour tourists. The campsite is located about XNUMXkm from the center.

We have 2 large and 4 small cabins, 5 of which are rented out on an annual basis.

We have a large sanitary building with 3 toilets, 2 showers, 5 sinks in both the women's and men's departments. Here you will also find a handicap toilet and a small kitchen at the back of the sanitary building with the possibility of a laundry machine.

Activities

The nearest neighbor is Raulandsfjell, which is a ski resort that also has a hotel, restaurant.

We are also so lucky to have ski trails and hiking trails right outside the campsite that provide great hiking experiences. The trail network is over 45km large.

We also have Falkeriset, Rauland Church, Te-Hytta nearby. We also have many nice fishing lakes nearby where you can fish by boat or from land.
