Hegelandsodden cabins and camping

Welcome to Hegelandsodden cabins and camping! Surrounded by beautiful nature, right by Vråvatn in Vråliosen, Western Telemark. The campsite is about 20 km from Vrådal Panorama ski resort. The campsite is small and quiet.

Fv 38 along Vråvatn, and vegans in West Telemark in general, are very well liked by motorcyclists in Norway and abroad. The place is a nice place to stay for those who are going over Suleskardvegen since it is located between Stavanger and Oslo !

There is a shoreline along the whole place, with good fishing, swimming, boating experiences.

Take a nice sauna, and jump in the water! Good hiking, with many mountain peaks nearby. (Roan - Roholtsfjell - Hægefjell). In the autumn there are good berries and mushroom terrain around Vråvatn.

Dishwasher and washing machine are available in sanitary facilities and are free of charge. Showers are also included in the accommodation.

We have a new electric car charger at the campsite with payment solution 24/7, 32 A, Charge365.

Boat rental

We have a brand new Hobby 15 feet with 30 hp for rent. 700, - per day

• In Vrådal (20km) there is Vrådal Panorama ski resort with 8 seater elevator, locks and lock museum, daily departures with the veteran boat "Fram", grocery, shops and cafe, Straand hotel w / restaurant. Top trip to Roholdsfjell, and Hægefjell.
• Åmdalsverk Mining Museum (10km) Guided tours of the mine. Grocery.
• Band axle (10km) Brygge along the Telemark Canal.
• Dalen (20km) Shops, brewery café, Dalen Hotel, Eidsborg Stave Church, the "Tøffare than Besseggen" hiking route from Eidsborg to Lårdal.
• Fyresdal (20km) shops, countryside, cafe, ski slopes, pool, hiking

Cabins

All cabins are in the Novasol system and can be rented there, or directly by me.

Solbu (N35544): New cabin 2021. Inlaid water.5 beds + 2 hammocks, large veranda completely at the water's edge with outdoor fireplace, and outdoor kitchen, 800, - per night

Strandbu (N35543): 4 beds, stream, running water, large veranda all the way to the water's edge. 600.- per night.     

All cabins have access to shared sanitation facilities.
