Fossumsanden Camping

The farm name Fossum comes from the Middle Ages and means "settlement at the waterfall" and it still is. The water flows out to Skredvatn, one of the hottest bathing areas in the area. Between mountains, lake and waterfall lies a small paradise for recreation, breathing deeply, renewal, reflection, the taste of freedom - Fossum!

Here is a good starting point for day trips by boat, car and bicycle, to hiking tours in Telemark's varied scenery and to exciting sights such as stave churches, old farms, the Telemark Canal or these charming little white towns on the south coast with cozy streets and places and lively ship traffic.

Camping

Open from June to August (01.06 - 31.08) or on demand. Large grassland with shrubs and trees right on the lake. Sun all day! Barbecue hut, barbecue area, power connection, modern sanitary facilities. Laundry room, communal kitchen with dishwasher and extra cookers. Boats for rent.

Cabins

Open from June to August (01.06 - 31.08) and to Christmas (19.12 - 03.01). Also on demand. 13 Cozy and well insulated cabins overlooking Skredvatnet. Each cottage has its own charm and decor. Each cottage also has its own terrace. All cottages have kitchens with refrigerators, dishes and cutlery. Bed linen and towels can be ordered. During the Christmas holidays it is possible to book cabins 1, 2, 7, 8, 10 and 15. The cost of the cabins during this period is NOK 150 per day more than stated on the price list.

Duvets and pillows are available. Bring or rent your own linen. A linen package consists of a fitted sheet, duvet and pillow and 2 towels.
