First Camp Bø – Telemark

A warm welcome to Bø! This destination is beautifully located at the foot of Lifjell in the heart of Telemark and is open all year round.

Here you live comfortably in spacious cabins, modern apartments, beautiful "hobbit houses" which we also call "podders", or in small cabins. Of course, there is also room for tents, caravans and motorhomes.

Just 500 meters from the camping area you will find Bø Sommarland, which offers incredible attractions for all age groups. Dizzying water slides and fast-paced bathing experiences for the whole family. If you'd rather stay on land, we can recommend the popular climbing park "Høyt & Lavt", which winds around the camping area.

If you want to enjoy nature, you will find great hiking opportunities at Lifjell, along the "eighth wonder" Telemark Canal or in Fruktbygda Gvarv. If you like animals, maybe an alpaca tour or riding an Icelandic horse would be something for you?

Many guests return to Bø year after year because of the wonderful surroundings and all the activities and adventures that the place has to offer the whole family.

Practical information

Opening hours The destination is open all year round. The pool is open from 3 June on weekends from 10 am to 20 pm. From 23 June it is open every day until 14 August.

Shop/kiosk Open at the reception during opening hours. Opening hours have not been determined at this time.

Good There is a barrier at the campsite. This is open from 07:23 – XNUMX:XNUMX.

Electric car charging There are three outlets for electric cars. (not in use yet, as the system is to be changed)

Public transport We are located approximately 4 km from Bø - Train Station

Bus stop - right outside. In the summer, it runs on a fixed route. At the crossing at bø sommarland, the bus runs every 30 minutes. Approximately from 20 June to 15 August.

Cardiac arrest can be found at the reception

Waste sorting At bø - camping, waste is sorted: glass/metal, fluorescent tubes, disposable grills/combustible waste, food waste, residual waste, plastic and cardboard and paper.

Food Veslekroa is open throughout the summer season from early June to 15 August. Hamburgers, baked potatoes, fish & chips, kebabs, steak snacks, a pizza menu and much more are served here. Opening hours June – August: every day from 12 to 22.

Here there is serving and a liquor allowance.
