First Camp Norsjø – Telemark

Welcome to First Camp Norsjø - Telemark, the place where camping and water activities meet in wonderful surroundings!

With its incredible location by the Norsjø Sea and the combination of mountains, nature and swimming, this is a place where both holiday enthusiasts and locals have gathered for many years. Here there is always a teeming population with full activity in spring, summer and autumn.

At the campsite, you can stay in a cabin, glamping tent or camping site with a motorhome, caravan or tent. Here you live a stone's throw from Norsjø - close to the beach no matter where you live. Many cabins and places also have a magical view of the lake.

If you appreciate a fast-paced holiday, you will enjoy Norsjø! With several activities, water sports and proximity to excursion destinations and sights, it is impossible to get bored.

At the campsite there is mini golf, a playground, bouncy cushions and not least several rental activities, such as canoeing and SUP (Stand Up Paddling).

Norsjø Cable Park

Norsjø Kabelpark is a great experience, for young and old. It holds Norway's only one full size cable.

Experiences

If you fancy a day trip, you will find several places to visit nearby. The trips across the Telemark Canal leave directly from the pier in the area, and in 20 minutes by car you will reach Scandinavia's largest water park, Bø Sommarland, a very popular place for families with children.

Waste sorting At First Camp Norsjø, waste is sorted: glass/metal, food waste, cardboard/paper. We continue to work on even better waste sorting

The destination is staffed The staff is present at the campsite during the opening hours, which are from spring. Until then, we are available by email norsjo@firstcamp.no or by phone +47 35 95 84 30

Electric car charging Bø Senteret shopping centre, about 20 minutes away, has charging stations. Norsjø hotel, about 5 minutes away, has 2 charging stations, and you will find Tesla charging stations at Notodden

Public transport The bus station is a 5-minute walk from the campsite. The bus takes you to, among other things, Bø and Notodden. See travel planner www.farte.no. In the summer season, the Kanalbussen takes you to sections connected to the Telemark Canal. Train: Nordagutu station is a 7-minute walk from First Camp Norsjø camping, direct connection with Sørlandsbanen.

Wi-Fi All cabins have broadband to each cabin. There is also a guest network (somewhat weak) elsewhere in the area of ​​the campsite

Opening hours The destination is open in summer! Opening again in spring 2023, welcome!
