With Rjukan and the Hardangervidda just a stone's throw away, there are many important experiences for us who live here, but also for everyone who wants to visit Sandviken Camping.

We can boast everything from historic days with World War 2, the Tungtvann expedition on Vemork, ski trips in the mountains, fishing in Tinnjøen, expedition life on Hardangervidda. The list is endless. We are therefore proud to be able to have Rjukan and Hardangervidda as our arena.

Cabins

sandviken Camping can accommodate up to 60 people in 12 cabins, where three of the cabins have running water. All cabins have electricity, made beds & towel, kitchenette with cooking facilities, crockery, utensils, refrigerator with mini freezer.

It is possible to book a cottage on our website, please contact us if you want more cabins, if you can not find any available dates, as we do not submit all cabins on online booking. Our cottages have narrow door frames with stairs up to the cabins, which unfortunately make them handicap friendly.

Settle on Sandviken after a long day in the mountains, or a quiet day on the water, with a short way to Rjukan and Hardangervidda. No matter what you have filled your day with, the goal of our camping is that you should be able to relax and enjoy your stay with us. We have 50 short-term pitches for motorhomes / caravans. We have sacrificed the tents the most beautiful place; down by the river and Tinnsjøen. In July, we have housed up to 50 tents.

Check out: High season at 14, otherwise stay as long as you want. We do not accept room reservation. Included in the price is free shower and access to the sanitary facilities 24 / 7

Glamping

Forget about everything you know about tenting ... .. Experience glamping - or glamorous camping. Stay in one of our large tents (6 mi diameter, 3 m ceilings in the center) that is cozy and stylishly furnished with beds, comforters, carpets and lamps that create an adventurous atmosphere. The tents are furnished with electricity and fan rails that provide a comfortable indoor environment.
