Hegna Camping

Hegna Camping is located in scenic surroundings with ample opportunity for independent activity, both summer and winter. Located centrally in order to explore the diversity of the area.

We have one of the finest sanitarybuilding which was completed 2011, safer our guests a high degree of personal comfort, in addition to that it is easy to use through self-service solutions. The building is environmentally friendly and has low energy consumption.

In combination with the reception you will also find our "store" where you can during the season can buy selected goods and equipment.

We have year-round operation and are easy to reach by phone and e-mail throughout the year.

Hegna Camping has 72 caravan pitches divided into permanent year-round pitches and short-term rentals, all pitches have 10A or 16A security.

With us you will experience the natural surroundings with excellent opportunities for fishing, recreation and great setting for swimming and relaxing. We also rowing boats for hire if you want to go on a "Sjøormsafari".

Cabin rental

You choose standard, simple and affordable or with bathroom, Tv! If you want to rent bedding, we can also offer it. You can also choose whether you want to wash yourself or you want us to wash for you.

Tent Place!

We have great tent sites in pleasant surroundings. With us you will experience scenic surroundings with good opportunities for fishing, the outdoors and great surroundings for swimming and relaxation. We also have rowing boats for rent if you want to go on a "Sea Worm Safari". We also have a kiosk where you can buy a selection of items.

We have varied opportunities for swimming. In the river, lake or indoors in Gullbring cultural facility. Own swimming area with beautiful floating jetty in the river. Or at Bryggen in Seljordsvatne.

Great place for fishing!

The place has been the base for the Norwegian Championship in nymph fishing several times. Great fishing opportunities in the river and lake, not uncommon to catch more than a kilo !. Ski

From Hegna Camping you can ski inland on Lifjell. Norway's southernmost high mountain is located in the middle of Telemark! The Lifjell plateau has more than 10 peaks that are over 1000 masl. The area has great hiking trails both summer and winter. Distance by car to Vrådal is about 40 min, and Rauland about 60 min. Alpine skiing is available at Lifjell, Vrådal and Rauland.

Bicycle

Telemark is known for its beautiful cycle paths. If you want to rent a bike, we will help you with that. With Hegna Camping as a base, easy access to many beautiful cycle paths in Telemark. For example, a short way to the Bicycle Path to the Telemark Canal.

culture barn

Culture barn at Hegna Camping was opened 27.juni 2009. Here there will be some different kind of activities and events, ranging from public TV on the big screen, dance and entertainment for young and old.
