eyes Camping

Øyne Camping is located in scenic surroundings in Fyresdal Municipality, west of Telemark. The campsite has a 400m shoreline down to the south end of Fyresvatn. We have year-round camping in fantastic Telemark nature. Fishing, berries and mushrooms, hiking trails, famous climbing routes, quiet surroundings but elements of events. New owners from April 2020, the campground will be upgraded in the future.

With us, swimming and water play are always popular. We have space for various summer activities, so ball games and other things are welcomed at designated places. There are also opportunities to borrow different games from us, but the selection may vary somewhat during the summer. For example, we have: Ball games, Boccia, Garden-yatzy, Football, badmington.

Fishing and Outdoor air

Fishing and outdoor activities are a natural part of Eyes Camping. In Fyresvatn, there is a great chance that the fishing luck will occur. Around us on all sides there are rivers and water that are exciting to explore. The catch consists of trout, char and whitefish, and net fishing is central in the fall.

Marked trails of varying length and difficulty start already at the campsite. In the immediate area there are many trails and top hikes to choose from, and there are gap hawks available for everyone. In winter time it is approx. 30 minutes by car to the nearest ski track.

It is no secret that the scenery in Telemark is beautiful, and Fyresdal is no exception. Here you will find experiences for everyone who loves the forest and fields - everything from peaceful strolls to the more demanding summit trips. We give you a few opportunities here.
