Namsos Camping

Namsos Camping is located at NAMSA expiration, approximately 5 minute car ride from the center of Namsos. The campground is located in scenic surroundings and cottages are located just off the Square with its own beach.

A lovely recreational area borders the campsite, and an evening stroll in these surroundings is the best guarantee of a good night's sleep.

Low season: from 1. sept. - 30. April (reception closed). Rental takes place via tel. 74275344 or via online booking.

Spring Season: 1. mai- 15. June, reception open: time: Mon-Thurs 08-15, Fri-Sat 08-20, Sun 10-14.

fishing

Namsos Camping sells fishing licenses in Namsen, one of Norway's best salmon rivers. A shoreline of 4 km. is available to the campsite guests. In the Namsen fjord, there are rich opportunities for sea fishing from boats and from land. Only Otterøya, or about an hour's drive separates us from the ocean, Folla. It is as fascinating and captivating in a storm as in a quiet one.

Activities

As mentioned, the trip into town takes only five minutes. The town itself is well worth a visit. It has traditions as a business and service center, and the trade is lively along the wide streets. Besides, it can offer some very special experiences.

Add the tour of the Oasen swimming and leisure center. There is no husband. This is one of the largest facilities in mountains throughout Europe. Here you will find 50-meter pool, heated pool, hot tub, several staircases, gym and cafeteria to name a few of the offers.

Furthermore, we recommend a visit to the city's cultural center and Rock City experience center. The county gallery's exhibitions are certainly worth the city tour, and in the concert hall there is still something going on. Check the concert list - it can pay off.

Draisine

There are only a few dressage courses in Norway, and we at Namsos Camping are extra proud that you can find one of these with us. We can promise you an exciting trip through a beautiful landscape. You can either cycle from the campsite towards the center of Namsos - this is a relatively short trip, or you can cycle north in a varied landscape where you pass bridges, tunnels and lots of beautiful nature.

our cottages

Namsos Camping has 31 cabins. The 10 largest are modern log cabins with electric light and heating, shower and WC. The living rooms have a lounge, and the kitchenette is equipped with a stove, refrigerator and everything needed for a longer stay. In these cabins there are 4 or 5 beds. Duvets and pillows for the same number can be found in the cabins. Bed linen, towels and final cleaning are included in the price. If necessary, more beds can be arranged. In connection with the remaining 21 cabins, we have built a sanitary facility. With this we have made the simpler cabins a good alternative.
