Langnes Camping

The campsite is located in Grong Municipality in Trøndelag, close to the river Sanddøla and only two kilometers from Namsen, Norway's best salmon river. The campsite is only one kilometer from the E6, in quiet surroundings and beautiful nature.

Two kilometers from the campsite you will find Grong center, where there are inns, restaurants, cafes, shopping malls, car repair shops, pole sales, train station and more. We work closely together Grong Skisenter here you can spend the night with the days exploring the 15 different slopes, or enjoy great skis and cross-country skiing in the mountains. Running 40 km north you come to Namsskogan Family Park a large and beautiful zoo where you will find most of the animals in Norwegian nature. If you drive 50 km west, you will reach the rock town of Namsos. Here you can shop in several shops or swim in a large swimming facility in the mountains.

Langnes camping offers fast and modern internet to all its guests. Internet service is Canoe and bicycle, and there is good coverage of the whole area. The service is free to all guests.

cabins:

Type 1: Cabins with a bedroom with bunk beds for four, duvets and pillows. Bathroom with shower / WC. Kitchen with cups and tubs. Kitchen table and living room. Separate storage room and terrace.

Type 2: Cabins with two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with a bunk bed for two. Sofa bed in the living room. Built-in water, mini kitchen, cups / tubs and duvets / pillows. The sanitary building is only 30 meters away.

Type 3:One-room cabins with two beds, running water, mini kitchen, cups / tubs and duvets / pillows. The sanitary building is only 30 meters away.

Camping:

The caravan pitches are 100-120 m², some with a nice view of the river. We have 30 places with outlets for electricity and drains for wastewater. Space for washing a car and cart. Possibilities for long-term installation of trolleys.

The motorhome pitches are 100 m, some with nice views of the river. We have 40 places with outlets for electricity, drains for wastewater.

Separate area for tents with electricity and drinking water.

Service Building

One service building contains a reception and kiosk, where there is a small selection of groceries and kiosk goods. Sanitary department with WC, shower and washing areas.

Separate family room and a separate section for children in the sanitary building.

For anglers we have a separate room with freezer facilities for the salmon and place for slaughter and processing. Tømmerom for chemical toilets. The second service building is new with laundry equipped with fully automatic industrial washer and dryer, and a modern kitchen with dining areas both inside and out.

Facilities / Activities

If you live at Langnes Camping, you are in the middle of the salmon eldorado. The campsite is located by Sanddøla and only two kilometers from Namsen. Norway's best salmon river. Here you can sit by the river and watch the salmon jump up the river. 

Near the campsite you will also find beautiful hiking and biking trails. Here you can cycle along the river or into the city center. Or maybe it's tempting with a forest trip or mountain hike? The possibilities are many.

Just below the campsite is a nice sandy beach with great activity in the summer, swimming, beach volleyball and of course fishing opportunities part of the season. Here it is both shallow and deep, so it suits everyone in the family. And maybe you'll see a salmon or two if you bring your snorkel gear and dive a little.

There is also a playground where children can meet and challenge their fantasies and boundaries.
