Åsholmen Camping

Åsholmen Camping is located on the scenic Frosta. Frosta is also known as Trondheim's kitchen garden, this because of the opportunities to obtain fresh and many vegetables.

With us there are 75 permanent seats for carriage and we 8 short pitches with electricity + 4 pitches without electricity, where there is room for tent, caravan or motorhome. We 4 beautiful cottages in different standards. Wherever you are in space is never over 100m down to the sea.

We have two places to bathe when the temperature indicates it. Both are sandy beaches, one is best at flo sea, the other is best at the shoreline sea. We also have 2 great playgrounds for the kids. One that is for the little ones, and one for the slightly bigger children / youth. With trampolines, recalls and other play equipment. In addition, we have a small football pitch.

our cottages

Cabin 1 and 2: These are furthest away from the service building. There is a water tap outside between the cabins. These two cabins have two rooms, 1 bedroom with 2 bunks, a total of 4 beds. In the second room there is a kitchenette with cooking facilities and a refrigerator. Seating for everyone at the table.

Cabin 3: These are the ones closest to the service building. Here, too, there is a water tap outside between the cabins. These cabins have a large room that sleeps 5, a kitchenette with cooking facilities and a refrigerator. Large dining table with seating.

Cabin 6: This cottage has 2 bedrooms, sleeping a total of 7 people. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Large living room with sofa corner to the TV. Dining table with seating for everyone. Large kitchenette with most equipment, stove, fridge / freezer and microwave.

Floating dock

We have a small floating dock, where there is opportunity to add your own boat. It is also possible to borrow a rowboat with us to take a trip on the fjord, or maybe fishing. We also have the opportunity to get frozen into the fish you get.

Kiosk and reception

We have a kiosk in the square, where you can buy a little different. Coffee, pizza, ice cream, soft drinks and gotteri to name a few. We also have newspaper sales of Adressa and Trønderavisa. Every Friday evening, ordering fresh rolls for delivery on Saturday at 10: 00. Should there be anything you need, we can help you get it to the next day, if possible.

Sanitary and washing

We have a large service building with toilets and showers. Here you will find emptying rooms for chemical toilets. You will also find a room where it is possible to wash and dry clothes. The older service building has HC toilets and family showers.

To locate us here on the north side of Frosta, run Rv 61 and taking off at the sign to us. Then there 3 km of gravel road, and then you come up with a scenic and quiet area. We have no preferentially foot traffic that makes a noise. We are located by the sea and the mountains with opportunities to use these for recreation. We have a rich bird life all around the camp.
