Korsnes Camping is only 50 minutes drive from Trondheim and only about 15 km from E6 (take off the hill). Right at the campsite include both a golf course and a great beach.
Korsnes Camping has on par with many other campsites in Frosta a large extent permanent seats, but at the campsite you will also find some DROPIN pitches. In addition, they also 3 beautiful cottages here.
Frosta municipality is located in Nord-Trøndelag and is a peninsula located centrally in Trondheimsfjorden. Frosta is a distinctly agricultural settlement, and the large greenhouse industry and potato and vegetable production have given Frosta the nickname "Trondheim's kitchen garden".
Frost plays an important role in Trøndelags history, as Norway's oldest lagting, Frostatinget, had its seat here, near the medieval church Logtun church.
Tautra is a small island located anchored to Frosta via a causeway one can drive on. On Tautra find including abbey ruins after the medieval Tautra Kloster. There is also a farm shop including selling perennials and a cafe / restaurant which also offers accommodation. Tautra is just a short drive from Korsnes Camping.
Frostating is the oldest thing place in Norway, and this had its seat on Logtun at Frosta. What space is currently marked with 12 monoliths / county stones. Here are the names of the 8 innafjordsfylkene and the 4 utafjordsfylkene and the number of delegates for each county. On Logtun you can find the old stuff Church, Logtun church.
Frosta trail goes around large parts of Frosta and is a great trail. The trail leads you through a beautiful terrain where you can both see beautiful plants, carvings and various farmyard.
