Rondane Haukliseter Fjellhotel

Rondane Haukliseter Fjellhotell 1000 masl is located on Høvringen at the entrance to Rondane National Park, 120 km north of Lillehammer and 8 km from the E6. The location is magnificent with panoramic views of Høvringen and the surrounding mountains. Access by car, or railway to Otta and from there on by bus. Map and directions  Rondane Haukliseter Fjellhotell has long traditions as a tourist resort, and has developed from being a traditional Gudbrandsdals-seeter to an attractive and modern mountain lodge with first-class cuisine, all rights, table tennis, sauna and dancing some evenings. Most rooms have been newly refurbished in the last year.

Motorhome and camping

With us, everyone is welcome to relax and enjoy themselves during their camping holiday. The campsite is well located with fantastic views of Høvringen and with many hiking opportunities. We have good places for both caravans and motorhomes with the possibility of electricity and water connection and emptying station for toilets. We also offer access to sauna and shower with separate lady and men wardrobe. We also have a kiosk and tv lounge inside the hotel. If desired you can buy breakfast, lunch and dinner inside the hotel. Otherwise we have a barbecue hut that everyone at the campsite has the opportunity to use. From the 2018 season, a wireless network has been installed that covers the entire campsite.

Cabins

Gammelsetra: Old log living room in a great location. Fireplace lounge, TV and radio / CD, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and new large, tiled bathroom with shower. 4-5 people. About. 70 sqm.

Bertebu: New renovated cottage with very nice view and location approx. 100m from the hotel. 2 bedroom, living room with sofa bed, wood burning stove, TV / radio, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. There is room for 4-6 people. The cottage is about 55 sqm.

Apartments

Anari: New apartment with two bedrooms with double bed, two bathrooms, sauna, full kitchen and living room with nice view over Høvringen, TV and radio with CD player. Non smoking apartment with high standard and nice patio. The kitchen has a fridge / freezer, stekoven, induction cooker and dishwasher. Service for 12 persons.

The view: Penthouse with balcony and great view of Høvringen and the surrounding mountains. Living room with kitchenette, fireplace, TV and radio / CD, 2 bedroom and large tiled bathroom with sauna and Jacuzzi. 4-6 people. About. 85 sqm.

Høvringen: New 2-room apartment with great views of Høvringen. High standard. Bathroom and fully equipped kitchen, TV and radio / CD, 2-4 people. About. 35 sqm. Non smoking apartment. Nice patio.

Rondane: New, large apartment with great view over Høvringen. High standard. Living room with kitchenette, fireplace, TV, radio / CD, 3 bedroom (2 with double bed), 2 toilet, large tiled bathroom with sauna. 6-10 people. About. 120 sqm. Non smoking apartment. Nice patio.

Åstugu: Apartment with living room and fully equipped kitchen. TV, fireplace and large balcony. 3 bedroom and bathroom. 6-8 people. About. 80 sqm.

panorama view: New apartment with 1 bedroom, bathroom, living room with large sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen, TV and radio / CD. Wireless network. 2-4 people. Smokeless. The apartment has a large terrace and very nice view of Høvringen.

Rome 4: Room 4 has family bed (150 cm down and 90 cm upstairs) with 3 beds, tea-kitchen, bath, TV and radio / CD. Large porch. It is well-located with views of the entire Høvringen.

Activities

The terrain at Høvringen / Rondane is both easy and demanding, and suitable for everyone. Every day you can walk a new route on good trails. Haukliseter is the Norwegian Tourist Association's (DNT) representative at Høvringen, and an excellent starting point for hiking in Rondane. Other Activities: Horse riding, climbing, fishing, boating and mountain bike rental. Rafting in the famous paddle river Sjoa is also exciting. In winter, there are several miles of well-marked and machine-prepared trails. Snowmobiling by tracked vehicle into the National Park. Ski school and ski rental.

We can accommodate smaller courses and meetings, and the venue is well suited for corporate events. Self-catering cottage rental all year round.
