Evjua Strandpark

Welcome to a camping by Mjøsa where nature, activity and healthy for the whole family is at the center. Here is the easily accessible outdoor experiences in a row, so it's just to take care of that nature offers.

Evjua Strandpark can be found in the middle of beautiful Totenvika along Fv 33 between Minnesund and Gjøvik. The idyllic beach park is easily visible from the road - just look for the restaurant Viken II which is shaped like a traditional mjøsbåt and is majestically located along the pier at Evjua Båthavn.

In addition to a restaurant and marina, Evjua Strandpark can offer accommodation at the idyllic campsite. There are places right down by Lake Mjøsa, and you can frolic in activities such as beach volleyball, water trampoline, fishing (we rent boats and equipment), swimming, and beautiful hiking trails by Lake Mjøsa, through the rich cultural landscape and the beautiful traditional courtyards, and all the way up in the woods. For the fittest, we have great summit hikes, including to Hervenknappen, with spectacular views of Lake Mjøsa and far into Sweden's forests. In the winter, ski runs are run all the way down to Evjua, and you can go on long ski trips in the beautiful cultural landscape! The trails also take you to the light trails in Totenvika.

Skibladner

Now you can travel with Skibladner directly from Evjua. The world's oldest wheeled steamer in scheduled traffic comes to us every Sunday during the route season (see www.skibladner.no), and you can book a trip through us in Evjua at www.evjua.no/skibladner

Viken II

The restaurant Viken II can be found in Evjua Strandpark. The restaurant is built like an old lake boat, and is majestically located "a little out in Lake Mjøsa" with spectacular views of Helgøya, Hamar and Stange.

From the "galley" summer lunch and dinner are served with fresh, short-distance ingredients from the agricultural village of Toten. We are very lucky to have a restaurant on Toten, in the middle of the dish! Bar with all rights.

We have a new restaurant manager Viken II, and he gets brilliant feedback daily. There is a wider menu than before, and here everyone will find a delicacy that suits both taste buds and wallet. On the top deck, a beautiful wooden deck has been laid.

Caravan / camping places

Beautiful parking spaces with level and driveable gravel and associated lawn, are laid out all the way down to Lake Mjøsa.

We have also upgraded with 12 new panoramic spaces, with a beautiful outdoor area covered with artificial grass. Up on the panoramic row you get a little above everyone else, and have a lovely view over Lake Mjøsa towards Hamar.

Panoramic cabins

Enjoy the lovely view of Lake Mjøsa, and experience how the atmosphere changes with light and wind. Specially designed mini cabins to get maximum views of Lake Mjøsa - straight from the bed. The cabins have a double bed and a single bed right next to each other. You also have a mini kitchen with hob, fridge and sink, as well as a simple bathroom with toilet and sink. captain residence

Need accommodation by Mjøsa then Captain home perfect. The house is furnished in maritime style and has an interesting history associated with shipping on Mjøsa, while having access to all the modern amenities. Accommodation in Toten is not so easy to find, but here you live both close to Mjøsa and amid the great cultural landscape Totenvika.

The house has 4 bedrooms with a total of 9 beds for accommodation. There is a beautiful bathroom, brand new kitchen, spacious dining room, as well as a nice living room with wood stove. All Season Place

The sites are idyllically located right down by Lake Mjøsa, but still at a safe height with regard to floods. You can choose between places with the beach, the marina, the activity area, or the service building as the nearest neighbor, at the same time as the restaurant Viken II never is more than a couple of stone throws away.
