Bjørkestølen All year camping

Bjørkestølen is a 4-star year-round campsite in Valdres, by Golsfjellet. The campsite is cozy and nice, in the middle of Tisleidalen. The plots are large, up to 160 mXNUMX, and equipped with electricity, lighting, cable TV and free wireless internet.

On site there is a newly renovated cafeteria with food service, also with outdoor seating. We have all the rights.

Bjørkestølen is a child-friendly campsite.

Sanitary facilities include kitchen area and free dishwasher, laundry room with washing machine, free drying cabinet, etc.

Around the campsite there are several different and special barbecue areas for use by the guests of the campsite.

In the center of the square there is a large pond. Here, adult mountain trout are released in early summer, and the place's guests can fish for free. There are also boat docks and treadmills that can be rented.

In 2018, a new communal kitchen was built in the service building. Here you will find everything you need for kitchen utensils. Two new large family rooms were also built. One is child-friendly with a children's toilet / sink / changing area and nice figures on the walls, very nice for the little roles!

Tisleidalen is an eldorado for you who like nature, whether you like fishing, cycling or hiking. With us at Bjørkestølen you are close to beautiful hiking trails, bike trails, mountain peaks, ski trails and not least the popular trout river Tisleia which runs right past the campsite.

We are happy to help you with tips for where there are nice trips adapted to your needs, and we sell hiking maps and ski trail maps at the reception.

Cabins

Birch tree: Cozy cottage of 50 sqm. which is just outside the campsite, with great views. It has a total of 5 beds, full kitchen with all utensils and dishes, as well as dishwasher. Large and spacious bathroom with washing machine. Cable TV, free wireless internet, etc. Linen and towels can be rented. Final cleaning can be ordered. This cabin is non-smoking

9 cozy cabins of 24 sqm. Central and nice location. All with sun facing porch and garden furniture. There is roadway and parking adjacent to each cabin. Here are good quality kitchenware for 6 people (coffee maker- fridge-freezer etc.) and electric heating. The cabins are winter insulated and sleeps 4 people, with duvets and pillows. There are TVs w / Cable TV, and free wireless internet. The cabins have no water, but it is a short distance to the sanitary facilities. In the summer, there are water pools right outside the cabins. Linen and towels can be rented. Final cleaning can be ordered.

fishing

Tisleia is a recognized and good fishing river for trout fishing. It runs from the Tislei Dam in the west, and alternates in rapids and quiet lots through the Tislei valley, along the camping-site and ends in the Bløy-tjernd dam. Length approx. 16 km. The river is very fish friendly and ideal for children as well as adults.

Pardis, Ølsjøen and Bløytjern are good fishing lakes located 3 km from Bjørkestølen, downstream along the Tisleia river. Here you can fish with rod from land and from boat, as well as the possibility of fishing.

Cycling

The Tisle Valley is an Eldorado for cycling for people of all ages. Taking the pedals and stepping into the mountain world is a unique experience. Here, together, there are miles of fine seating paths in small hilly areas. Hiking and cycling maps have been prepared for both shorter and longer trips.
