First Camp Råbjerg Mile

Råbjerg Mile is a popular family campsite with room for everyone. The destination is located at the top of North Jutland, in the middle of Denmark's magnificent nature on Skagen's Næs.

The distance between the North Sea at Kandestederne and the calm waters of the Kattegatt at Hulsig is only 6 km and offers many opportunities for beach visits.

Here you can enjoy both the beach, nature and beautiful surroundings. The nature around the destination invites you to excursions, hikes, running and cycling tours as well as unique nature experiences.

The campsite is 12 km south of Skagen, a cozy town with a fishing harbor and a rich commercial life. Skagen offers many cultural opportunities, including Skagen Museum, Anna and Michael Ancher's house, the sand church, Grenen or just a trip in the harbour. The town is within cycling distance of the campsite and has the most wonderful cycle path, which goes over Hulsig Hede to Skagen.

The campsite is also centrally located for nice cycle tours in the area to Bunken Klitplantage, Ålbæk, Farm Fun, Kandestederne, the eagle reserve, Tversted or Tverstedsjöarna, among others.

Camping near Skagen – holiday at the top of Denmark

The pitches are laid out in circles with plants on three sides, which means that the campsite will never feel too big, and the vast majority of pitches are laid out so that you have your own personal space. The area has both an indoor water park and an outdoor pool. The water park is always delicious if the Danish summer weather offers a day without beach weather.

We also have a bowling alley, football pitch, tennis court, mini golf, several fun playgrounds and jumping jacks. We have something for every taste and every age.

At the destination you can rent a cabin and caravan. We have both luxury cabins and regular standard cabins as well as caravans for rent. 

If you are on a cycling holiday and ride along cycle route 208 on the Vestkyrouten, one of Denmark's national cycle routes, you will pass First Camp Råbjerg Mile and we always have space for cyclists on tent holidays.
