Alesund - Jugend city

Ålesund is located on Sunnmøre in Møre og Romsdal. The coastal town is one of the world's largest export ports for clipfish, and here you will also find a fishing port in the center with sales of fresh fish and shrimp.

Most notably at Aalesund for its distinctive Art Nouveau architecture with turrets, spiers and beautiful ornamentation on facades. National Geographic named in 2013 Alesund to one of the six most beautiful port cities in Europe.

After a violent town fire in 1904, the entire center destroyed, and young Norwegian architects inspired by contemporary modern building style helped build.

Atlantic Park

The Atlantic Park has been one of Northern Europe's largest and most unique saltwater aquariums. In 2013 and 2015, the Atlantic Park was named the Best Aquarium in the Nordic Region www.barnsemester.se
