Whale watching

Whale watching is a popular and growing adventure tourism that began in the 1980s and has grown tremendously since then. Mostly, boats are used to look for whales and then to approach the whale. The experience of seeing the world's largest mammals up close is indescribable. From Skjervøy Fiskecamp you quickly reach several important areas for whales. Skjervøy, Ytre Reisafjord and Kvænangen. Since we use RIB boats, we are quickly in place where the whale is.

Deep sea fishing

From our fishing camp you go straight down to the harbor to start hunting for big fish. You better not get it? Here are great opportunities for deep sea fishing records and Big game fishing! A little north of us is Sørøya with many world records and south of us is Lofoten. You can safely say we are in the middle of nowhere!

Spend your time fishing and hunting for big catches. We organize the rest! Sleep well, stay well and eat well and you'll get the most out of your deep sea fishing trip. Experts on deep sea fishing will guide you to where the big fish are. In our modern boats we can quickly find the fish and if you do not have your own equipment we can help with that too. So what are you waiting for?

Why is the fish so big here? The Gulf Stream just outside here provides the ocean with important nutrients. In addition, there is great drainage of fresh water and nutrients from large salmon rivers inside the fjords. This provides the best conditions for plankton and crustaceans. The small fish grows fat and if something big fish LIKES it is fat small fish ..

Sami camp

Get to know the Sami culture better! Join us on a family-friendly tour of a Sami camp surrounded by stunning scenery and the famous Kågen mountain. The Sami are the natives of the north, and our Sami guide wants you to get to know the Sami culture better both past, present and future. Taste typical Sami food, see and learn about Sami objects, history and joik (traditional Sami song). If you're lucky, the guide will share some secrets on how to live in an extremely arctic nature.

Reindeer driving is an important part of the experience as the oldest known form of transport in the north and central part of Sami culture. After reindeer breeding, you will participate in the feeding session of the fine reindeer in the camp, and here you will have plenty of time to get up close and personal with our charming creatures.
