Now it is being put into production: Lyseo Gallery TD "gallery"

Last year it was uncertain whether this would be a show car or whether it would go into regular production. This year, the production-ready Lyseo Gallery TD will be shown at the Caravan salon in Düsseldorf.

The pop-up roof in the Lyseo Gallery is very reminiscent of Hymer's Venture van, both on the roof and in the interior. The ideas are similar, but the solutions are different. The motorhome with the inflatable roof will go into production this autumn. It comes with two different furnishings. Both models stay under seven meters in length. We have looked at one here. The final version has a lot of what was shown in a prototype last year. On the roof there is sleeping space for two people. A work table for those who want to sit in bed and work on the roof has also been retained.

Illuminated steps

The stairs up are fixed with indirect lighting in the steps. In the lounge there is a traditional L-shaped sofa and with turned chairs in front there is plenty of dining space for the three people it is designed for, but also for a guest. The kitchen has three burners and a solid worktop above the sink as well as a compressor fridge. Towards the lounge, a shelf section can be pulled out from the wall. This also opens up a storage room with access from the top. The bathroom is located diagonally at the back, just in front of the garage and there is a door to this. Lyseo Gallery TD is delivered in a standard version or with a Harmony Line accessory package. The variant TD 649 G is equipped with a round seat at the back. Above it, you can choose a drop-down bed as an addition.

Tested in a climate chamber

Bürstner can say that Lyseo Gallery TD has been tested in a climate chamber under a number of different conditions. “The alcove could withstand all weather conditions. We tested it in temperatures from -30°C to +80°C, in foggy conditions, with a 1,5 m snow load, in a wind tunnel with the vehicle exposed to winds of up to 120 km/h from the front and from the side. The raising and lowering mechanism as well as the locking system worked without problems in all conditions. The bellows and folding mechanism remained intact. I am very satisfied, because all criteria were met, and we have achieved what we set out to do," says development manager Tim Niedick. Lyseo Gallery TD is built on Fiat Ducato 2,2 Multijet with 140 hp. In Germany, it is priced from 92 euros and it is registered for 000 kg weight.
